Explore Safe Swim Ottawa

We founded Safe Swim Ottawa with one goal in mind: giving our swimmers the best, most rewarding learning experience possible while having lots of fun!

Safe Swim Ottawa is located in Old Ottawa South, across from Lansdowne. Our passionate and experienced team of sisters is here to help each and every swimmer to become more confident and more skilled in the water.  Les leçons de natation sont aussi offertes en français.

More About Us

Safe Swim Ottawa is owned and operated by sisters who have grown up in Old Ottawa South. The Ruiz siblings are passionate about teaching while making the environment fun for their students. Through our 8 session program, we are committed to understanding each individuals needs and learning styles to ensure that they are taught in the way that best suits them. By the end of the session, our goal is to have helped our swimmers to be stronger, more confident in the water. Learning to swim in a safe environment, in a private, semi-private or small group, will ensure a life-long love of swimming.

The Pool

In order to maintain a well heated swimming environment, our pool is kept at 80 degrees, compromised of a large salt water pool, 9 feet deep at its lowest point.  Our backyard pool is more than adequate to handle lessons and accommodate parents. Our facility is well equipped with a poolside table, beach chairs and an ample amount of shade.

Know that that you are not required to stay for the lessons, however you are more than welcome to grab a chair and have a seat.

Please keep in mind that this is our home, be respectful and clean up after yourselves.
